Brigg Breaks Trail

Off to college he goes!

              Our boy Brigg has finished his 2024 desert breeding season with THREE confirmed mares in foal:  Sunnyside Smedsmo’s Mina, Whispering Winds Tora Bastiansdatter, and Bluebird Lane Phoebe.   
With this accomplishment under his belt, he will soon be on his way to Full Moon Farm in Pennington, New Jersey where Jill Kosek will be hosting him for two spring breeding seasons.  While there, Brigg will embark upon full-time dressage training and showing with Lauren Chumley.  He will snowbird next winter in the Florida dressage ring!  We’re over the moon excited about this cool opportunity and anticipate great success for all involved.   

We are grateful to Megan Boardman at Forgotten Horse and Jacklynn Matthews at Picture Perfect Performance Horses for giving Brigg his great start in English, Western and Driving classes resulting in awards that attest to Brigg’s phenomenal conformation, movement, temperament, training, willingness, skill and ability.

Brigg is our Norwegian-imported grey stallion- son of Brijol and grandson of Gråggi.  We are so proud of where he’s been, what he’s done, the foals that he has produced and the possibilities that lie ahead.  Frozen semen available.

at Sunnyside Farms in 2025.
