In Montana…

From May through October, Sunnyside’s northern farm is north from the rapids of the mighty Yellowstone River where the Beartooth-Absorkee Mountains rise from the hotbeds of Yellowstone National Park. We are within a beautiful valley in south western Montana whose breast lies between the foothills of the remote Crazy Mountains and the ever-popular Bridger Mountain Range. The farm is nestled along the confluence Cottonwood Creek and the Shields River, tucked in the trees just on the edge of the small rural ranching community called Clyde Park.

In Arizona…

During the winter months from November through April, Sunnyside Farms extends it’s program season in the Western Arizona desert community of Wickenburg. Here, we are able to escape the harshness of winter and allow our foals to experience planet Earth in a sunny and hospitable location. We are just south of Tonto National Forest in the Sonoran Desert, surrounded by Saguaro cactus and palm trees. Much of our program design, grant writing, breeding and foaling occurs in this warm and peaceful environment.

Whether you are north in Montana or south in Arizona, you will find us… a collection of very happy and proud Fjord Horses ready, willing and excited to join forces with our human counterparts..
