After a week of pacing and readiness, Sophie finally delivered her dream.  At eleven PM, June 7, she went down and Sunnyside Franz was born within minutes.  At least it was a warm night!  Sunnyside Franz took a little time to warm up to the idea of oxygen and milk… but he got it!

 

Franz is a cool cross of some very substantial bloodlines.  From his Sire (Odden’s Favne) we have Smedsmo Gråen, and from the bottom, we have Solfin Skova.  talk about  greatness in temperament, bone, size and conformation.  He has a delightful head and big beautiful eyes, much like his mother’s.  We’re excited to see how these bloodlines merge.

Franz is a lovely leggy white dun (grey recessive) colt with the sweetest babydoll head, big brown eyes, substantial bone and a lovely neck set.  He will be athletic and friendly, masculine and strong.  He’s got a bright future ahead, we just know it.

 

Franz will be ready to learn his new address at weaning time.  Make sure to give him some consideration.
