Fawna is a lovely, young white mare bred by the Downey’s in Alberta, Canada. Downey’s stallion, Odden’s Favne, is a grey son of our beloved Smedsmo Gråen. Favne is Fawna’s sire out of a Solfin Skova daughter, Footnote’s Solfylt who was imported in-utero with Klosterhofs Sole by Jenny Barnes of British Columbia. Needless to say, Fawna has some wonderfully strong international genetics. We’re very happy and honored to have her in our program for a couple years and are so thankful to Anna Payne for sharing her with us! We’re excited to breed her to Njord Halsnaes in the first year to see what she will produce!
