Klosterhof’s Simsalabim

NFHR:  Pending | White, Red Recessive Mare

Bram x Klosterhof’s Soli (Solfin Skova)

14.2 H, 1000#, Bone 8″

DOB:  8/1/2023

As a breeding program, we can attest to the excitement that comes from adding new bloodlines to a herd.  We’ve watched German imported horses for some time, and have even imported one of our own (Rian0) in 2024.  We’re now excited to be adding Simsalabim (Sims) to Sunnyside  as an up-and-coming program star and delightful brood mare.

Sims is out of  the white German Staatspramienmare mare Klosterhof’s Soli (1.50m).  Soli is by the well-known and revered Elitestallion, Bundesreservesieger stallion, Solfin Skova.  He is a very heavy and tall horse who gives long legs and good bone, wonderful type and soft character.  The motherline of Simsalabim’s dam (Soli) is Solstrale who is known for nice type, producing wonderful faces, good movements and soft character.  The sire of the mother line is Resen who consistently gives very good bone, mane and tail with impressive type.  He has an active motor in the hind leg and easy character.

Sim’s sire is the legendary Elitestallion, Bundespramienstallion Bram, who is a very talented stallion known world-wide for amazing faces, good bones and elastic movements.  His offspring are always people-oriented and in all things around them.   Sim, herself, comes from a full line of these highly-awarded mares and stallions who are strongly sought after and awarded.  She is the best foal produced by Inka Stormann’s “S” line.  She has a tremendous quality with awell-formed body and a very nice face.  Her bones are strong and her joints are well-formed.   Sim loves people and always comes quickly when she sees people.  She is easy to handle and does her best to please. We are anxious to watch her grow into a beautiful and athletic mare.

Simsalabim is a tall, leggy white-dun gal with temperament, physical and mental strengths sure to be a great addition to our program.  We’re so excited to have her here at Sunnyside!

A hearty thank you to Sim’s breeder, the legendary Inka Stormann, for sharing her with us!
