Edith was the third baby in the second round of foals born at Sunnyside Farms in 2025. We’re excited to be keeping our long-awaited red head. After the arduous process of rehabbing Tosca and getting a foal from her, raising Talene, and getting her bred, we finally have the prize, but it wasn’t easy. We accomplished a pregnancy and the outcome has been such a blessing. Edith is everything that we had hoped for and so much more. She is our lovely little Strawberry Shortcake, full of kindness and the most gentle nature that we could have ever asked for. Much like her mother and grandmother before her, life so far hasn’t been easy, but the rewards are great…. and she knows it!
This little lady was born as Sunnyside Njord’s Edith on Father’s Day, 2025 in Montana. She is strawberry red sherbet, and just as sweet as her mother and father and their parents before them.
