At high noon on April 10, in front of God and everyone (including the UPS driver), Seljeset Wendy released her captive into the sandbox. World, meet Sunnyside Njord’s Wilma, Njord Halsnaes x Seljeset Wendy (Brijol), a strapping, elegant, lovely little lady who is clearly able to turn heads and get the attention of those at the top!
Wilma is tall, elegant, leggy and sweet. She is sure to mature to something special and you could have her out on your pasture upon weaning time!
Note: Wilma is named after Wilma Held, our lovely, strong, stoic Norwegian neighbor who passed away over Easter weekend at the age of 95. Long live her spirit through this delightful filly.
