We were blessed to have had the opportunity to love and be loved by Tyri for 7 years.  She was our best producing mare and with us she had 6 exceptional foals following the 5 that she had in Norway.  We will never be able to fully express our gratitude to her family in Norway nor to those who helped us bring her to Sunnyside.  Her loss is a grave tragedy.  She was the cornerstone of our breeding program and the matriarch to every horse that graced the farm.  Rest in peace, lovely mare, spread your unicorn wings and fly far and wide, bringing awe to every soul in the heavens.  

You left us far, far too soon and we will miss you more than words can express.  5-6-07 – 7-17-22
