Walder D. came to us as a 5 year old Jack from our friends at Avonlea Farms in Moyie Springs, Idaho.  He was a perfect, life-long addition to Sunnyside.  Fit as a fiddle and ready to “rock”, Walder trained easily to ride, drive, participate in kids’ camps and therapeutic sessions.  He has been a cornerstone to every single day at the farm.  No matter where we are, Walder is there.  He is consistently accepted by the mares, their foals and all the other animals at the farm.  Each season, he chooses his favorite mare and makes it quite clear which one is “his”.  We LOVE our little long ear and appreciate nothing more than when our guests specifically request his presence.  Here’s to many more years with Mr. Walder D!
