Help a Horse and Sponsor a Fjord

At Sunnyside Farms, our horses are the backbone of our program. In turn, we make it a priority that the horses receive the highest standard of management possible. The horses need daily care to maintain the mental and physical health necessary to help humans.  They must also stay in premium shape for breeding (creating new wonderful Fjords). Yearly costs average $8,000 per horse which involves hoof care, hay, feed, supplements, veterinary and dental work. Care for senior horses is even more!  If you sponsor a horse for an entire year (or semi-annually for $4,000), you can be recognized on our website, in our newsletter and on social media. You will also receive a certificate of sponsorship with the horse’s picture along with periodic updates..

Sponsorship does not include riding privileges, but we’d love you to visit your sponsored horse anytime, and volunteers as horse “buddies” are always needed!

In November of 2016, Sunnyside was granted a 501(c)3 status!
