Terrific Trixie

Round 2, number 4 and we were caught off guard.  Talene had a trick up her sleeve when she delivered Trixie.  This adorable red filly made a surprise landing on earth a couple of weeks early and and played a big trick on us.  She was “cooked” to perfection, however, and this little cutie pie is doing great.   It wasn’t that we didn’t expect her arrival, it’s more that she surprised us with the DATE of the arrival.  She entered the earth just after our sweet soul, Hoku, crossed the rainbow bridge, which made the heavenly exchange of souls all the more touching.  Her birth date ALSO happened to be the same day as our annual carnival fundraiser!!!  It’s difficult to stay focused with the task at hand when you’re blessed with such a delightful surprise!  

Little “One Trick Trixie” is a lovely hue of orange sorbet and just as sweet.  She has great bone and a terrific mind.  She’s straight with a nice long back and legs.  In relation to her sister Edith at birth, she’s quite large, so we’re expecting her to have some size.  We’re feeling extra fortunate that the surprise birth went well with no complications….AND that we got another filly!

We’re looking forward to seeing Trixie unfold and will be offering her to a loving future home.  If you’re looking for a family friendly mare of a different color and/or a quality brood mare with exceptional bloodlines, look no further, this special little pony might do the trick!
