Jeanna Butterfield

Jeanna Butterfield is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  She owns and operates Healthy Frontier Counseling, Inc. where she provides counseling services to children, adolescents, and families.  Jeanna also contracts with the special education program in Washakie County School district providing mental health therapeutic services to children on Individual Education Plans through both traditional therapies and trained in the EAGALA Model.  She started the first Equine Program at Wyoming’s Juvenile detention center before going into private practice in 2011.  In 2011 Jeanna began offering Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Equine Assisted Learning to individuals in her community.  Currently, she contracts with Washakie County Courts to provide adult anger management, Department of Family Services to offer individual and family therapy, Washakie County School District offering social/emotional individual and group therapy, and most recently a Horse Powered Reading Summer Program.  Jeanna, along with several employees are EAGALA Certified and work extensively with other mental health agencies in the area to offer EAP through the EAGALA model. 
Jeanna has served on several boards in the past but currently serves on the Washakie County Crisis Prevention and Response Center board of directors.  She has experience in research for grant writing, nonprofit fundraising, and knowledge of state and federal resources.
